This project first started out by creating a wooden box, and then with that item, we were asked to incorporate and combine a laser cut item. Using the laser cutter for the first time, I experimented with different shapes and pushed the boundaries to see how far I could take the laser cutting machine. With this project, I decided to have three separate levels with bundles of 3, 6, and 8. To incorporate these two items, I let the laser cut project hang from the top to the bottom, and with a light, the audience could see the dissimilar shadows on the walls of the box.
