SDU's University Faculty of Engineering in Odense wanted to improve their intake of international students with a unique and very tactile publication. The success of this piece created great interest in student fairs throughout Europe.
The second component that followed the packaging element was a brochure that would have the same design theme while providing educational information to incoming Danish students. It was an exciting project with many aspects such as creating design standards, art direction of photography, and technical challenges.

The graphics in this publication was created based on the many symbols, codes, idioms and visual indicators of engineering technology. Sprocket, diodes, molecules, electrical print cards and so on.

PACKAGING
These are pictures taken of the finished product. The cardboard tube can be opened from the end and inside, lies three pamphlets folded like a wheel. Because of the tubular structure, it can be used to build an entire installation with different visual elements for viewers to respond to.

PICTURES
The photographs are aimed to convey the dynamics of SDU's engineering course. We partnered up with photographer Morten Lundrup to capture the realistic challenges and tasks that students face within their program.
THE DANISH PUBLICATIONS
This is a supplementary publication where incoming Danish students could read about the different disciplines within SDU's engineering program. The courses and options were illustrated with info graphics to give an
at-a-glance viewpoint of the various offerings.
The piece was put together by 3 different formats of paper varying weights.
