Stained Glass / January
This set of windows were to combine a collection of ideas I had been working on since May 2011. There are 4 windows in the set. Each is framed with American White Oak wood with fixtures on the reverse to hang.
Windows 1 - 3 are working with a 3 panel design, each with a similar image, but varying styles in paintwork. One featuring the use of double plating two colours of glass with painting on each layer to create dimension & muted effects.
Window 4 also features the double plating technique and is bordered with vintage Norman Slab Glass salvaged from a Church Project in Leith Edinburgh.
