My Super Sonic Birthday
Poster / Invite for my 27th birthday party – 2012
In honor of my 27th birthday, I designed this poster to promote my Super Sonic Birthday Party. I've been a loyal fan of Sonic the Hedgehog since I was 9-years-old. Classic early 90s titles such as Sonic 2, Sonic Spinball, and Sonic & Knuckles cleaned-up hours of play time on my Sega Genesis when I was a kid. So when I acquired a used Genesis console and a bunch of games, it seemed fitting that Sonic should be the mascot for my birthday. Aside from loads of dance-music, friends, fun, and beer – guests at my party also had the opportunity to put their button-mashing skills to the test on plenty of 16-bit Sega classics!
