Socotra island is one of the most fascinating places on earth going through the process of speciation. The island provides some of the greatest plant and animal diversity, 30% of the flora and fauna in the island can not be found anywhere else on earth. However, almost nobody makes the distinction between Socotra and the Yemeni mainland and a result, being a part of Yemen has kept travelers and the tourists away of it. In my point of view, i see that it is a must to advertise such a magnificent place by creating an identity that would better reflect it’s magnificent species, and by that, it will help promote and advertise it self so it could be revealed for the whole world.
