When i first got my own 3D Printer i wanted to see if it was possible to make my own R/C car.
With the touring car i took my first steps, looking at exisiting designs, learing about gearing and how modern R/C cars work.
It is belt driven 4WD and built on a aluminium chassis plate.
I used mass produced componentes which i quickly replaced with my own. While it was never meant to be fully 3D Printed i quickly realised that i wanted to take things a bit further which later resulted init´s successor, The OpenR/C Truggy.
