User Interaction Design
An iterative set of updates to improve user experience for version 5 of WebmasterCMS, the content management system built by Vancouver based InControl Solutions.
The work below specifically focuses on updates to the 'Media Manager' interface.
User re-sizeable photo grid, sortable, folder & tag based
on mouse over displays image name, star rating, option to zoom
clicking on a photo thumbnail displays a larger copy of the photo
along with photo details to the right hand side

Photo uploader activated at lower left hand side
Once photos are dropped within the window, upload commences
User has the option to choose a destination folder and add tags
Upload progress at lower left, can also be minimized
User is able to get on with other tasks within the CMS during uploads
Upload complete at lower left hand side
News Module
Articles list is drag & drop sortable by user
Long lists of articles can be filtered with tags, by date & time, author or status
(This module was work in progress)
Page Editor
Web page editor with 'image properties' dialogue box activated
