Lisa van der Linden / Personal Hairstyling Portfolio
Lisa needed a portfolio designed to promote herself. As you can see she is a hairstylist. The concept I came up with for the booklet sleeve was to take Lisa's name and slice through it as if it had been cut with scissors. Once this was achieved in a visually pleasing manor I mirrored the whole front cover and placed it on the back of the portfolio as well. The reasoning for this is because as a hairstylist you spend almost all of your day in front of a mirror. So now if the booklet is open all the way it acts as a reflection. I kept the scissor slice concept through out the portfolio by splitting up the before and after shots she had to include with the same affect.
