Freeview iSqueakTV App
Freeview asked us to create something fun and engaging to support the launch of their new
'How Good is That?' campaign. The campaign focusses on the number of free TV channels available through Freeview and symbolises that generosity as helium balloons, clusters of which carry ecstatic people up into the air.

We came up with The iSqueakTV phone app, which gives voice to this campaign. Literally.

Helium balloon voices have long been a staple entertainment of parties and festivals, and our digital trickery allows people to speak in a helium voice, without the need for the gas itself. They simply 'suck' the "helium" out of their iPhone mics, speak a sentence or two and play it back transformed into the voice of a psychopathic smurf.

Released just before Xmas, the app was a big party hit, with over 10,0000 downloads in under four weeks from just word of mouth. Alongside the squeaky mayhem, we ran a youtube-based competition that invited consumers to upload films of themselves quoting well known TV show catchphrases - awarding prizes for the most entertainingly stupid performances.
