Beyond a Child Imagination

A series of illustration about my childhood.

Nowadays, technology dominates children & slowly, they don't play with their imagination anymore.
Back then children with everyday objects to play with their imagination and turn them into something extraordinary.

I illustrated about my childhood, and I start with my dream of wanting to be an artist.
Walls are my canvas and lipsticks are quite enjoyable to played with.
That plush is still my favorite & it even has a name.
Pretending our surroundings was the Wild West and we're the cowboys when I played with the neighbor.
Sometimes we played indoors, shut the entire lamp and with just a paper and flashlight we made our own starry sky inside the room and pretend we're an astronaut who made friends with some aliens.
Another time we played as a street fighter and how I wish I could do kung fu.
No, we weren't fighting against each other. In reality we punched our long pillow which we hung somewhere.
Pillow fight!
As a girl, we all love to dress up.
There was that time when mom wasn't home and I played with her belongings.
Turned out to be a disaster.
In the end, I feel grateful that back then I was just a child with a big curiosity.
Those are just some of my childhood stories.
What's yours?
