Secret Agents II is a prequel to a spontaneous film Patrick Shafer and I produced in Winter 2014.

Patrick plays a young recruit seeking out his elusive partner Agent X11.

We shot the film in San Diego and Santa Barbara, California.

As the project was entirely improvised, the storyline changed several times.
But before we were finished we were confident that we had something worthwhile to the ongoing saga.

I strategically chased morning and evening light in an effort to capture unique, natural looks.

This is one of my favorite ways to approach a project. We just sort of wandered off the main drag in Santa Barbara and found this beautiful overcast beach scene. With the help of my sister we were able to shoot the final scene of the film before the sun finally set.
