SEE/CHANGE Window Application

A year after Hurricane Sandy ravaged South Street Seaport, a programming initiative was put into place to help boost local businesses and support the historic Fulton Street district thrive again. The Howard Hughes Corporation presented the 2013 "Unseasonably Cool" winter programming though SEE/CHANGE at South Street Seaport. A 110-by-45-foot ice-skating rink was constructed, as well as pop-up shops and dining kiosks.

I was fortunate enough to be a part of this encouraging initiative and work along side my former Senior Designer, Erin Dennis, to develop the signage and spacial graphics – in only a weekend. On a Friday morning we did a site walk-through taking photos and gathering measurements, by the afternoon we were provided graphic assets fromt the client and into the evening we were busy designing. Signage was successfully installed the following Monday and the ice rink was up and running. What an experience.
