My images created for the competition entry by 2pm architekci team (including me).
Subject was the enterances to the Tatra National Park - main tourist mountain attraction in Poland. We were delighted to hear that our work was awadred with the 1st prize, and its going to be build in all 17 enterance areas.
As a main inspiration we took high mountain sheppard shelters that are and were present in Tatra since we remember.
We used original material - dark silvershined wood, and mixed it with simple waterresistant plywood. As a result its a dark form with light display area, just like slided piece of raw wood.
