Erik Spiekermann - 6x9 Book
Erik Spiekermann is a German typographer and designer. For this project I designed a 6"x9" black and white book that served as a mini biography for the eccentric Spiekermann. Majority of the book is set in ITC Officina, Meta was used for the headlines and captions. Creating engaging spreads has an enjoyable challenge and I believe this project highlights that. Months after completing this project I watched some interviews with Mr. Spiekermann, he would have publically repremanded me for using justified type throughout, I'll just add that to the "fix someday" list.
