Weighing four kilos, Lucha: A Tribute is easily the biggest book we’ve ever produced. Its heft seems appropriate: this is the world of the luchador as we’ve never seen before: mythical, magical, sometimes harsh and deeply human, thanks to celebrated fashion photographer Andreas Neumann. Invited to the project by editor Paola Gonzalez, we designed and curated the content, re-thinking the many visual vocabularies that exist in lucha libre - from vintage posters to historical photographs – to tell the luchadores’ stories in a truly unique way.
