For my Graphic Design II class (Fall 2011) we had to choose an organization and create a brand identity. I chose to create an identity for a football (soccer) team that I created based on the graphic novel I made this past summer. I interviewed a representative of the San Jose Earthquakes to get an understanding of how a team's look is put together and what they want to communicate through that image.
The project required that we design a logo, brand identity manual, and 3 examples of real world applications using the logo. The applications I chose to do were a trading card, bus wrap, and uniform designs.
