Concept
Apogee Coffee is a concept that grew from my surroundings, the Ozark Natural Forests and the camping culture that so accompanies. The name means “highest, climax,” to symbolize not only the quality of the coffee, but also nature.
Details
Through a series of sketches and approaches, the final mark symbolizes a mountain, upward direction, and the letter A. Both the tin and bag packaging are designed to withstand weather and suitable for camping. I hand-stamped the topography pattern and type on the kraft bags using a printmaking polymer plate.
