Teaching Life skills Through the Arts
Encouraging Creations is an afterschool, school break, and/or weekend program, targeting at-risk youth, building positive perssonalities and characters within a creative safe environment. Programs offered have been specifically selected to cater to youth, in stimulating their minds while developing and/ or refining skills within the arts. Encouraging Creations programs also provides a foundnational perspective on ways to cultivate developing skills within the program. and seek ways to broaden and continue their thirst for knowledge and their contribution their perspective and reflections in the art field.
Encouraging Creations mission is to enrich the lives of our youth by empowering them to take ownership of their livesand encourage their peers to do the same. We will do so thrtough the power of the arts in which creative process for personal growth and creative expression can begin to develop.
Encouraging Creations is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit art agency that seeks to instill hope back into the lives of disadvantage youth that will help them to become productive members of society. We look to not only expose youth talents, and bring the arts back to disadvantage communities but we also look to provide employment for talent youth. In addition, we seek out creative youth to share their creative talents by volunteering throughout disadvantage youth programs.
