A client wanted me to design an illustration for his barbershop. He wanted an illustration of a lion biting into a barber pole and breaking it into pieces. The illustration would be printed onto t-shirts for all employees at the barbershop. I decided to illustrate a well-detailed stylized lion that would emphasize an aggressive attitude and drew you to the style.
