Being an cyclist and budding triathlete, these guys came to my knowledge a few years back. Jon and Chris Thornham, (they are Canadian twins mind you) are the creators, owners, engineers and enthusiastic visionaries of Flo Cycling. I was initially captivated as they had launched a line of exceptionally well designed and manufactured carbon fiber wheels. Considering that the nearest wheel-set, in quality, were priced thousands more. But over time, I started to drink the Flo koolaid and became a fan of them AND their wheels. 

 

My cool radar peaked this summer when I emailed them and pitched a photo series idea. I was shocked when Chris responded with an enthusiastic YES. It took some time and creativity to get out the Las Vegas and to coordinate our schedules but I finally made my way there at the end of a two week roadtrip through the west. The resulting series was shot in about 6 hours on the outskirts of Las Vegas and at their homes.
