We got selected among four other teams in 48 Hour Animation Jam Competition in ITFS ( Internationales Trickfilm Festival in Stuttgart). The challenge was to produce in 48 hours a short animation using the festival's mascot, Trixi (the horse).

 

Due to the "crazy" and unusual colors the horse had, our concept was based on "metamorphosis" and depicting the crazy cells of the horse transforming him from one shape into another, until he reaches the final look ( which is the festival's mascot).

We worked on having visuals which combined a wiggly texture along with digital lines in order to suit each form.

Unfortunately we ran short on time and never had enough time to work out the animation as we wanted, however, we had a great experience working among other talented teams.
