Color Bliss Coloring Book App Splash Screen
Do you know what's hot? Adult coloring book apps, apparently. Color Bliss, a new coloring book app for adults, will be appearing soon for Android and iOS. Coloring book apps are some of the most downloaded apps on the Android and iOS app stores, and the makers of Color Bliss want to make a splash in the market with their entry. The original developer's work was a little rough around the edges and the creators asked if I could help give their new app a little more 'spit and polish' from what the original developer was able to do.
Original Logo
The original logo, while fine, lacked the ooph the Color Bliss team was looking for. The ask was to make the logo more refined and bolder to work better at smaller sizes. One particular aspect of the app that I wanted to emphasize was the watercolor theme of the app screens. Using a custom-drawn version of the font Rissa, the new logo has a fresher, more dynamic appearance that is more readable at smaller sizes. It also reinforces the hand-made feeling that app gives its users, who like to be creative and expessive when using the app.
