TUFT - Semiseduta
Tuft è una semi-seduta detta anche seduta ischiatica,nata dalla volontà di offrire una soluzione e dare sollievo a chi ha necessità di sostare, seppur per poco tempo, tanto in attesa di un autobus quanto in occasione di una visita ad un museo in cui si vuole osservare con calma un'opera d'arte. Molto spesso ci ritroviamo infatti a scaricare in modo errato tutto il peso del corpo su una gamba, perché costretti a stare per molto tempo in piedi. Tuft può essere utilizzata da due persone contemporaneamente, grazie alle sedute poste a due altezze diverse. Tuft consente, in condizioni di stanchezza o di affaticamento, di appoggiarsi in posizione semi-seduta permettendo così di scaricare in parte il peso del corpo e favorendo una sensazione di riposo. Gli elementi che compongono Tuft sono due: la base (una calotta sferica in metallo spazzolato) e l'elemento d'appoggio (progettato in legno di Frassino, di colore bianco rosato madreperlaceo, compatto, forte, resistente, molto flessibile ed elastico, si lavora facilmente, non si scheggia o deforma, si può pulire e lucidare molto bene e può essere curvato col vapore). Entrambi gli elementi sono fissati al pavimento mediante un perno centrale. Grazie alle sue caratteristiche fisiche ed estetiche, la seduta si presenta così come un prodotto versatile, dalla forma originale, adatto per arredare ambienti interni che esterni.

The elements that make up Tuft are two: the base (a spherical cap in brushed metal) and the support element (designed in ash wood, of pinkish pinkish white color, compact, strong, durable, very flexible and elastic, you work easily, it does not splinter or deform, it can be cleaned and polished very well and can be curved with steam). Both elements are fixed to the floor by a central pin. Thanks to its physical and aesthetic characteristics, the seat looks like a versatile product, with an original shape, suitable for furnishing indoor and outdoor environments.
