Delta/Michigan Tailgate Experience

Delta took a strong position by becoming the official sponsor of the athletic departments of nine of the top NCAA universities in the US. We were asked to envision what a 200' x 200' footprint for gameday celebrations would entail and how the airline could best leverage their new relationships to drive traffic for both bookings as well as the SkyMiles program. 
To properly border the space and attract fans to the area, we chose to announce the partnerships via sixteen foot feathers which prominently display both team and Delta branding. A check in desk ensures we account for all attendees, and can follow up with additional messaging.
But the real point of attraction is an 84 foot model plane, that actually houses six different stainless steel Lynx grills. The ultimate tailgate accessory. 
In addition, we supplied a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the chance to get a selfie leading your favorite team onto the field.
As part of the sponsorship, each team had custom signage created to show Delta's allegiance to the tradtions
of these great programs.
