Several custom graphics were created to localize a Manhattan McDonald's restaurant during its remodel in order to better connect with its customers and to also modernize the space. The first floor hosts a graphic that grabs customers attention as they enter the restaurant. This bold graphic highlights all of the New York City buroughs and neighborhoods as well as some of the highlights that New York City hosts. It is custom handdrawn skyline with monuments drawn in throughout the graphic.
According to Business Insider: "Upon opening the door, you're immediately confronted by McDonald's younger, hipper approach to the "Create Your Taste" experience: The walls are covered in enthusiastically trendy and bright New York-themed illustrations. This is part of McDonald's broader attempt to appeal to local markets."
On right will you can see the multistory graphic stripe that highlights famous New York streets, buildings, and everything else one might hope to see in NYC.
