The “Ice Cream so good that it speaks for itself” campaign had been going on for a number of years. However, this campaign needed to be updated and refreshed. We developed an online campaign where new flavours could audition for a TV speaking role. This concept was extended to include a micro site full of easter eggs and surprises as well as 6 different video personalities, voting for your favourite new flavour spokesperson, Youtube videos, My Space Pages (yeah remember those… the social networking space before Facebook), and more. The campaign was so successful that the client ultimately requested that these online mini video’s became their new TV campaign.
