ZHC continued its progressive enhancement of 2high Festival in 2010. This time the output went under the guise of absurd propaganda, taking ill predictions about life in the year 2050 to the extreme.
Our motivation was to strengthen the theme, Awaken the Machine — a quest to provoke thought about the past, present and future of interaction between life-form and technology.
Drawing style references from the Art & Crafts Movement, Industrial Revolution, 50’s Retro Tech, Op Art and the World Wide Web, the 2010 visual identity, website and subsequent collateral would become a 21st century mash up of design throwbacks and hypothetical propaganda.
