Pirelli Malaysia wanted to promote their new tire P Zero Corsa which has extremely strong grip, hence these two ideas of a grip that can withstand a car bomb and a hurricane came about. Though the idea was good and the client loved it a whole lot, the agency and myself agree to pull it out moments before it went into press as we caught news of bombings within our neighboring countries and natural disasters follow suit just a week before insertion.
As fun as the Idea may seem to be, we put forth the sensitivity of it going out, would be in timely bad taste. Nevertheless before all the chaos, it was a strong print worthy of contention of an award. Please be mindful as this is a folio piece for my own promotional purpose only and the idea was not intended to poke fun at anyone or any race nor any religion.
