The first ever Kickstarter project Military Pin Up Girls Calendar starts on 17 September 2015. 12 illustrations that represent different subunits of the Ukrainian armed forces now united in one full color unique design.

 

The idea of the project belongs to the Ukrainian artist Sviatoslav Pashchuk that started to create a series of military pin up posters in 2014 when the armed conflict in Ukraine began. He created posters to support voluntary battalions and official subunits of the armed forces of Ukraine. The girls on posters are depicted in military style, each illustration has its ironical slogan like «Gentle Ukrainization», «Storm warning» or «The final lullaby». The whole series is titled «Separatism is harmful for your health». Among the girls on the illustrations there are real persons that work as volunteers to help the Ukrainian army to get all necessary provision.

 

The main aim of the project is to print a calendar for 2016 combined of 12 posters. The artist promises to give a part of gained money to the Ukrainian army.
