I had a one-hour artwork challenge with a friend of mine and decided to create something random and fun. I started sketching some simple ideas and decided to go with a boxy character sporting a manbun. 

I liked how it looked but i decided to play around with it some more, and so i decided to make the flat design look a bit more three dimensional, all while still keeping its simple design. And here's what i came up with:
