My dear friend Aloizio hired me to create a cover for his first solo album, named Esquina do Mundo (Corner of the World). The original brief was to show, in one image, all the elements that influenced him during his 15 year career. I had complete freedom to work on it and it was a lot of fun to create this digital collage. The next was my first attempt.
First art
The client did not approve the first art, believing it was too chaotic and dense. He asked for something cleaner, more artistic and poetic. So I came up with this next attempt.
Second art
Even thought the client did like the last art, he believed it was still heavy. He then asked for something more ludic and came up with the idea of the little boy with the astronaut helmet. After that, we finally reached the final result.
