Manuable is a marketplace that brings mexican design directly from its maker to their customer’s door, sharing a full story and experience with every product. It is also a network that aims to create opportunities for industrial designers in México, offering distribution and exposure for their work and everyone that makes it a reality.

We developed a full brand image for Manuable inspired by the fearless use of color in mexican aesthetics. In addition, we also helped create two different experiences, central to Manuable’s process: An invitation that presents Manuable to mexican designers, and welcomes them into the community; and a format for customer deliveries, packing a simple shipping box full of Manuable’s identity and philosophy of appreciation for design.
The traditional image of mexican artisan work is still the country's most recognized visual style worldwide. It's bright use of colors and shapes expressing the playful, carefree attitude of its people. Mexican kitsch.

This style was transformed by the work of mexican architecs like Luis Barragán and Ricardo Legorreta. The mexican aesthetics were ushered into the modern era, creating a new perception of their culture through the union of passion and heritage with clean design.

The fusion of these two reference points was our main inspiration when creating the Manuable visual language.
The Manuable color palette, as carefree and unashamed as the culture of its country.
A translation of the color scheme into a textured, real world language.
