SEAT - LIEBRE Off-Roadster

This was the my Final Thesis Project made during the academic year of 2014 in the Car Design Master curse at SPD - Milan.
Wich was developed in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group. focusing to conceptualize how a Roadster will look like in the future.
This project was developed for the SEAT brand, and supervised by Julio Lozano, SEAT Senior Designer, trough many design reviews with him, and also with Alessandro D'Ambrosio (Walter De Silva's personal assistant in the VW group). I could experience the workflow of the industry, developing the project from the first sketch to a high-ended final model, which was presented to the head of the VW group.

The LIEBRE Off-roadster is a concept focused on escape from the city noise during the weekend. Going to the mountains, to the seaside, the desert or to a Lake, to enjoy an adventure and share this experiences with your partner.
Following the briefing "SEAT Roadster of the future" our proposal is a two seater car with off-road capabilities able to take the owner at any place. with an high-tech interactive interface that will suggest and invite the owner to live new adventures. Creating a sports car with hybrid design between a roadster and a off-roader, balancing this two different car types creating a very unique proportion.

The Design follows the SEAT Brand DNA, on the sculpture and on it's graphics, but proposing new and fresh design solutions and surface treatments, emphasizing the sculptural body in contrast with very sharp lines and also geometric elements like the front and rear lamps.
