Pigeons vs. Doves
Once, as I was passing by a civil registry office, I saw a man and a cage with doves, and rose petals near a spout and everywhere around. These doves were waiting for the next wedding ceremony and for their turn to be released. I thought that there could be pigeons somewhere around, looking for some food, staring at the "prisoners". That reminded me of bachelors making fun of newly-weds and their family bounds. I kept thinking about it, and having made some sketches I understood that this image was more about war (as pigeons) and peace (as doves). So I set myself to create an illustration about all of it.
