We hiked for four days down the Paria river canyon.  Originally we planned on coming in through Buckskin slot canyon but the threat of flash floods altered our approach.  We decided to stick to the Paria where the canyon had more options to get up high if the rains came.  We started at White House camp where the river is wide and sandy before it enters the narrows.  For more info on the hike visit: http://www.utah.com/playgrounds/paria_canyon.htm
