Seismic Performance of a 3-Story Moment Frame Building Using Recycled Polystyrene Concrete
The following is the oral defense of my Master's degree research, conducted on structural concrete infused with polystyrene beads acting as coarse aggregate. After the materials research was performed, evaluating density and compressive strength of control and experimental admixtures, the data was input into SAP2000 to evaluate the seismic performance of the sustainable concrete.
