Floor lamp/room separator made of plywood and aluminum.

Exploring the wood lamination technique we were aiming to rejuvenate organic forms inspired of natural patterns. Applying the shapes to the materials we were led to imprint the controversial state of consciousness for natural awareness. One side of the object shows how distant from nature people are getting day after day, while at the other side is visualized the need for friendly environmental cohabitation.
The main body of the object has been constructed of fifty-one pairs of plywood strips formed with cascamite while the rest of the elements are made of aluminum. Dimensions of the object: 280x180x25cm.
