Notes for Sinfonietta
This is a set of notes taken took in order to design an LP cover for the “Sinfonietta” from Janacek,.
Each line represents a movent from the Sinfonietta.
The notes were taken by listening repeatedly the music piece, in order to apprehend each instrumental family and it’s “tempos”; And by using a different color for each family of instruments such as woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings (violin, viola, cello and double bass), and seek to illustrate the most prominent families we listen during each movement. The aim was to create a narrative that could be somehow readable, illustrate that is a music piece, and illustrate how it sounds.
