KETMAN | Display Face
The internet has rapidly become a responsive landscape, however most type design for the web remains static. Ketman is primarily an experiment in responsive type design. On the project page, users can interpolate between several different masters of Ketman.
In what will definitely be my first and last endeavor in font creation, I digitized my own version of Patria by Henry Moeller in Glyphs. Ketman Display recalls the crisp geometry found in the German Art Deco type scene. The upright slightly threatening display face looks best at large sizes.
I worked with Jonathan Prandato and Jay Borelli to bring Ketman to the web.
