Halloween project 2012. Build some characters and tell a story through their positioning, pose, clothing and what they're holding. Initial sketches defined the five characters and their main color schemes and concepts. Initial Title: Youth.

Finished lineart. Extra detail given to clothes. Anglerfish almost entirely revamped. Final positioning and heights decided.

Spider shirt: SMART girls RULE!

Feline bat: LONG RANGE LITTLE LEAGUE

Anglerfish battery pack: Hot enough for ya?

Color schemes decided

Feline's sweater should not fit with the rest of his colors
Spider's colors needlessly feminine, hot pink
Squid's colors a poor copy of Spider's.

Background build, unecessary for the story told, but should serve to frame the characters.

Light shading added

Final shading and framing. Extra lights added to background and shadows added to ground.

Final test with main color schemes
