Phantasmagoria of defeat on Hellenic Broadcast Corporation’s national television network NET. Director Anastasia Christoforidou filmed a 30-minute documentary that follows Giorgos Tzinoudis through his weekly schedule as an artist and individual in Thessaloniki. Es Avrion Ta Spoudaia is the umbrella title for a series of documentary films airing on NET.A production of the Greek Directors Guild professional association that focuses on scientists, artists, entrepreneurs and athletes who innovate and create.

The documentary by Anastasia Christoforidou titled “The Phantasmagoria of Defeat” will be screened at the 16th Documentary Festival of Thessaloniki, on Saturday the 15th of March, at John Cassavetes Hall (Warehouse A, Thessaloniki Port), at 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday the 23rd of March 2014 at Pavlos Zannas Hall (Cinema Olympion), at 5:30 p.m. The film focuses on visual artist Giorgos Tzinoudis, his life, work and influences drawn from various schools of art.
The documentary was produced by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and was part of a film series under the title “Leave the Important Things for Tomorrow” (Es Avrion Ta Spoudea). The aim of the series was to allow directors to present a young person who is likely to become famous very soon. The final choice was Giorgos Tzinoudis.
Η ταινία-ντοκιμαντέρ της Αναστασίας Χριστοφορίδου, «Η φαντασμαγορία της ήττας», θα προβληθεί στο 16ο Φεστιβάλ Ντοκιμαντέρ Θεσσαλονίκης, το Σάββατο 15 Μαρτίου, στο Τζων Κασσαβέτης, στις 20.00 και την Κυριακή 23 Μαρτίου 2014, στον Παύλο Ζάννα, στις 17.30. Η ταινία αναφέρεται στον εικαστικό Γιώργο Τζινούδη, στη ζωή του, στο έργο και στις επιρροές από τις διάφορες σχολές τέχνης.Η ταινία είναι παραγωγή της ΕΡΤ και εντάχθηκε στο πρόγραμμα παραγωγής ταινιών «Ες αύριον τα σπουδαία», με σκεπτικό οι σκηνοθέτες να παρουσιάζουν στο κοινό κάποιον νέο άνθρωπο που μπορεί να γίνει διάσημος μέσα σε σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα. Επιλέχτηκε ο Γιώργος Τζινούδης.
