After stumbling upon an old project to render an Audi TT. I discovered I had to continue working to renew the project. Both as practise for Cinema4D and doing something I love.
My first try after 2 weeks of learning Cinema4D
My Motivation:
I wanted to polish my skills in 3D (& Cinema4D) by working on a concept for a newer R8 that comes at year in 2020 as a final year model. Being inspired by the newly released 2016 Audi R8 and R8 E-Tron.
My concept was that the 2020 R8-R will be based on the R8-Etron but holding superior electric capabilties from Audi’s LeMans race cars.
I took my inspirations from the sister company VW’s XL1.
Starting with the first leak of measurments of the new R8; I built upon it, from scratch.
No real life model for the first part. I had to rely on uninformly first leaks of measurements of the car and compared them to the previous Audi R8 numbers to set a value and frame for the model I'll be working on.
