In order to resolve issues of the existing framework, a proposal for redesign of navigation and menu structure was made on the following lines:
Shortcomings of Current Structure:
- User needs to navigate through multiple levels of Menu to access a piece of information of a certain data
- While adding a new data view to the product, it is always a task to find its right place within the current menu
Benefits of Proposed Structure:
- Since the object(s) being viewed within each data view are going to remain the same, the Data views become the means of navigation
- Everytime a Product USP can be easily added into the navigation menu, giving the user to choose the desired object in desired format (data view)
