I've always admired seashells ever since I was a kid. Until now, I would always dip into the water and search for pretty pieces, stare at them, and admire how perfect they are. Those intricately-patterned, colorful, little pieces of the ocean are formed through a process of nature for hundreds (or even thousands) of years. Thus, seashells have their own stories - they have been through a lot before
they turned into such beautiful masterpieces.
Here are some illustrations of seashells from the beaches of Batangas and Cagayan, Philippines,
that caught my attention. I illustrated them using watercolor and colored pencils, then designed them
in patterns. I hope you like it! :)
