Fahrenheit 451 Book Design
A nod to Ray Bradbury's genius with a book design that actually makes sense for this classic.

This is a complete book design of Ray Bradbury's, Fahrenheit 451. After researching existing book covers for this classic, I felt as though most of them did not do the story justice - usually they focused on one abstract (and often stretched!) concept.
My solution was to take symbols from the story and collage them together with an emphasis on the ever-present technology in the story - specifically the video screens. Using the SMPTE television test pattern colored bars as a foundation, visual noise created by the colors and graphics literally interfere with the copy on the cover, especially the back cover, much like the technology that dominates the characters in the story.
