Creating Kaleidoscope K48

This is Kaleidoscope K48. Below you'll find the photos and process I used to create it.
These three photos were used to make this kaleidoscope:
An amazing southern New Mexico sunset/rain storm  (yes it’s real. - the sky here truly is amazing), a decaying prickly pear cactus and Mexican Hat wild flowers.
I used the sunset as the bottom layer. I then placed the Mexican hat over it using a difference blending mode. Then I added the cactus with an overlay blend.
This pattern is copied into four. Those four image are flipped horizontally or vertically to match up. The image is rotated and resized to create this image.
That image is duplicated and they are both placed on the kaleidoscope canvas. The final touch is to adjust the light levels and the color vibrancy.
And here is the final image once again.
Thanks for taking the time to view my work.
