This poster series re-contextualizes writings from the late David Foster Wallace's short story Good Old Neon. The story explores the complications that occur between thought and representation—the inability of language to accurately represent one individual to another. This series leverages a single quote form the text that reinforces this notion. By segmenting and deforming the hierarchy of reading across five posters, the series attempts to highlight the labor involved in the usually instantaneous process of reading.
