Nuvola was born out of the frustration of an Italian in London who could never find something delicious to eat.
 
Francesca Frosini, Founder and London Head Chef, grew up in a traditional Tuscan family where preparing and enjoying fresh food defined family life.
 
And like many Italians, she inherited a fierce passion for cooking.
 
When Francesca and her husband moved to London, they were frustrated by the lack of good lunch options.
 
They found the food available too heavy and uninspiring – it lacked flavour, lightness and joy. And they missed the delicious, reinvigorating freshness of their home cooking.
 
So Francesca decided to create a place that prepared the artisan dishes they cooked at home – lovingly tweaked to ensure they are light, healthy and affordable.
 
And so, Nuvola was born.
