Our Babel is a global wiki. Our Tweets, text messages, and Facebook links can indeed be postmodern building blocks, a brave new language for the digitally enlightened. But they might also be but poor excuses for the lost art of conversation.

Venue: Pasaje América
Once again, Salon Mexico City made an event in a venue within the colonial downtown area. The club is located in the second story of a building, and is decorated on the inside using art-dèco fashion (big glass chandeliers and red velvet sofas). The space is distributed in two main parts: the first one is a lounge area which connects to the second room, which is a bigger space used for performance.
Babel Tower installation
A massive, 4 meter-high tower in the middle of the venue reflecting on our relationship with communication technologies. Each of the four walls had a different theme: magnetic poetry, collective art-piece, Babel in Jewish thought, and Babel in movies.
