Solar Valley
A window design that was submitted and chosen for 2011 Downtown Windows Project under the
year’s theme “The Chemistry of our City”. DWP is a design project geared toward activating the
window spaces of the vacated Nasby Building in Toledo, Ohio. Toledo has had a number of solar
panel companies coming into the area bringing with them jobs and money. Taking inspiration
the new tag line of Toledo “Solar Valley”, I created a graphic of gradient solar panels to reflect the
good nature that the these companies have imprinted on the area.
